The movie “The Force Awakens” hit theaters in December 2015, and it’s still one of the most talked about movies of all time.
It was one of Disney’s most anticipated movies, and some fans are still trying to figure out the true story behind the title.
While we’ve seen the movie in the theater and seen trailers for a few weeks now, we’ve never really gotten a chance to talk to anyone who’s worked on it.
That’s changing with the release of a new documentary called “Star Wars: The Force Awakens: A Film by Michael B. Wilkinson,” which has been getting a lot of buzz.
According to a trailer for the documentary, “The First Story,” the film’s plot involves a group of people who went to the Jedi Temple to try and rescue their daughter Leia Organa from the clutches of Darth Vader.
But they found out Leia had been kidnapped by Han Solo, and the group ended up being stranded on the planet Tatooine.
The film opens with Leia and the others being taken prisoner, and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) tries to rescue her from Vader’s clutches.
After the group is taken captive, Luke has his apprentice, C-3PO (Andy Serkis), to help him escape.
But when Vader returns to Vader’s stronghold, he finds Leia and is furious that he hasn’t rescued her.
Vader orders Vader to shoot Leia, and C-17 escapes with Leia’s daughter, Leia Organas.
Now, with the documentary in the public domain, Wilkinson’s story has been reworked and rewritten, with more details about the characters and their backstory.
According to the trailer, “Star War: The First Story” will feature interviews with some of the people who worked on the film, including Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, producer George Lucas, and Lucas’ brother, George Lucas Jr.
The trailer also has some new information about the movie’s release, which is being delayed until the fall.
This means the film will debut in theaters this summer, but Wilkinson will not be involved.
The documentary is still in the early stages of filming, and no details about it have been released, but it looks like Wilkinson’s version of events will be the most accurate, according to the filmmakers.
We’ve reached out to Wilkinson’s representatives to get more information about what the documentary is about and what it could tell us about the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII.
We’ll update this story if we hear back.
Star Wars is coming to theaters this fall, and Wilkinson is no stranger to the saga.
He also co-wrote “The Phantom Menace” and was one the creators of the “Star Trek: The Next Generation” film series.
